Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Recipe for watching football:

    Ingredients:
    Good coat
    Few bob for drinks
Directions to nearest pub (Think you can use your ipad for this.)
Warms Shoes (nippy out this time of year)

    Steps:
Ensure you have a few bob in your pockets
Use IPAD to find local drinking establishment showing the match
Put on warm shoes and good coat (nippy out)
Follow directions from IPAD to get to nearest drinking establishment
    Find a decent seat
Hand over a few bob for a tipple of your choosing

    Drink up and Enjoy. :D:D:D

fúck it I wasn't gonna say it - I'm weirdly confident about tonight and I am gonna break my promise of no predictions.

    4-2 Liverpool

Worried that Everton will overrun the midfield and dominate the game. Wouldn't exactly take a draw now but........

I thought I'd be able to get a Sky Sports Day pass for the game but didn't realise it was on BT.

The dreadful Michael Owen aside, I really am beginning to love BT Sports. Picked great fixtures for Jan & Feb.

How many Evertons does it take to beat Liverpool?

    I agree.

The have the pre and post match ambience to a tee, but they really do need to recruit better.

Twitter rumblings that Stones, Heitinga and Hibbert will be starting in defence for Everton...

If that does turn out to be the case then thats only a good thing for us.

Think it will be a tight one. So much at stake for both sides. Liverpool might just edge it with their forwards

Surely a risk on Everton's part, really gambling with the lads fitness to play for a top 4 spot.

If he is fit it will be the changing of the guard, could be the game where he plays gerrard off the park. If not fit, which is what I am clinging too, he might struggle and not last the 90.

    Arrghh.

Aspas to come on and nick a winner after 7 mins of injury time.

Playing injured guys who are fast is a risk.

Very attacking lineup by Rodgers. Guess he had little choice given all the injuries in defence and central midfield. I presume they will line out differently than they did against Villa though. Surely he won't have them as open as in that game.

Looks like Everton are taking a risk with Barkley and Pienaar. Presumably taking injections to play.

Strong lineup from Everton. Not too confident for the Liverpool win.

Hopefully Liverpool can the win we really need.

This is goina be a mental game. Be interesting to see exactly how Liverpool set up. If its like Villa they could be in trouble. Id fancy Everton for this if it werent for Suarez.

Hendo and Stevie deep I'd say with Coutinho in behind SSS.

Toure and Cissokho are going to give me a heart attack. Gerrard may well get sent off.

Stormer from Flanno. Delighted to see him in the derby

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,316 ✭✭✭kevohmsford

Yeah poor bench for Liverpool but to be expected with injuries and lack of transfer activity.

They should have called back Wisdom. Very light if a cb gets injured or sent off.

Yeah the defense looks iffy to say the least. Is this Flanagans first game in a long while?
