Handicap Sec says I won't be cut for my scores recorded from societies so I have to re-adjust myself. ( not like that! )

I wont be playing anymore qualifying competitions for the rest of year, so barring some sort of performance cut for STELLAR winter golf, that's where my handicap will finish for the year. Overall, dead chuffed with myself!

Disappointing yr

Heard from the handicap sec a couple of weeks ago that I might get a nibble on general play but sadly found out on Friday night that category 1 golfers can't be cut on general play.

Cat 1 golfers, always getting the raw end of the cutting stick.

Anyone else getting cut on general play from their clubs ?

Just want to thank everyone for taking part in the thread this year and for posting all the updates to your handicap over the season.

It's brilliant to see all the people who have done so well this season. Some of the gains people have made this season have been truly inspiring!
