    Fantastic coup for Cork city as Il Divo join The City of Cork Symphony Orchestra for a `A Musical Affair: The Greatest Songs of Broadway Live' at Musgrave Park, Cork on the same weekend as The Irish Open.

    The City of Cork Symphony Orchestra has announced a major concert for Cork to be staged at Musgrave Park this summer. The orchestra will be joined by the world's leading classical crossover quartet Il Divo as the superstars perform at a fully seated 5-hour event at Musgrave Park, on Midsummer's Night (Saturday, 21 June 2014) at 6.00pm, the same weekend as The Irish Open golf tournament comes to Cork.

    Tickets go on sale from this Saturday 1 February at 09:00.

    The punishment was the amount of people who decided to have full blown conversations during the performances. BTW il divo was the last 1.5 hours there's was the CSO and the 3 sopranos. To the 4 muppets who cackled through the whole performance behind me thank you, for making what should have been a lovely evening a chore, and to the couple who sat behind me on the other side listening to your work problems for hours was so nice.
