Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

How long radiator valves (not TRV) should last?

So I dont have thermostatic radiator valves installed as I'm happy to balance my rads manually simply by turning on-off-or almost off excisting rad valves.
I am not completley clear about that - if TRV 's would last 10+ years, how long manual valves should last before continuous twisting on/off will cause some sort of problem e.g. leak.
House is 14 years old (so do rads and valves)
Or should I need to prepare myself to call a plumber and replace all valves I'm twisting (just in case)

If they leak just tighten the nut on top.

Cheap valves the pin can snap off
