Dungarvan Super Value (formerly VG) to close at Weekend.

    Just heard mews this morning that staff at the VG supermarket were told the store is to close it's doors this weekend.
    Sad news, not too surprised though.. Always quite there lately, and Also are set
    to open in Dungarvan in April.

    Also heard the shoe shop across from The Shamrock Restaurant on O' Connell St. is closing aswell.. Sign of the times.

    Sad to see any business closing. Don't know how true (or untrue) it is, but rumour has it that the old Darrers shop is to open as a branch of Penneys.
