    How do the AVRX1000 and the TXNR626 compare, John?   I haven't been overly impressed with the quality of my current Onkyo, although sound-wise I've no complaints.

    I would like a receiver that i can hook up to my sky hd box, ps3 and xbox and output to a projector.....if possible i would also like to be able to stream music from both apple and android devices, internet radio isn't really important to me. I want this to be as future proof as possible (within reason for the price)....so possibly 3d sound and 4k???

    I've read a few reviews online, and the yamaha has some great scores

    which one of these would suit best, or any others you'd recommend?

    Also, how much is delivery to Ireland?....and how long?

    Im interestd in the TXNR525 or the TXNR626. Regarding sound quality which one is better. Is it just the extra wifi and bluetooth that are different.

    Thanks for getting back to us.

    Yamaha are great amps, no doubt. Unfortunately the 375 doesn't tick all your boxes.  It will be fine for inputs etc but doesn't offer any streaming services at all.

    You could take a look at the Yamaha RXV 475 currently priced at £249.00.  This has 5 HDMI inputs so no problem for your inputs, it also gives you Apple Airplay, internet radio and is also DLNA certified.  

    Being Yamaha it sounds great too!

    There are a few other differences too.

    The 626 will pass through 4K if you're lucky enough to have, or get a 4K TV.

    It also has 2 HDMI outputs which is handy, means you could get a projector and run it along with the TV for movies etc.

    Bit more power on the 626 at 120W per channel.

    Imo it's worth the extra few quid for the 626.
