Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    What's an average speed laptop? Post up the specs as others that have used it can tell you how long it took for their specs.

    I'll need to check when I get home, but its in the ball park of what Im using here at work. 32-bit, 4Gb RAM, 2,4 GHz processor.

    Find it hard to believe conversion could take that long.. ?

    Mines 64 bit with 4gb ram and either 2.8 or 3.2ghz and it was giving upto 16 hours to convert some films.

    Thanks. Looks I shouldn't be too surprised.. had no idea this'd be the kind of timescales involved.

    So am I missing a trick or two in terms of how I should try watching DVDs, apart from downloading them if I want to more easily view them on ipad ?
