gmail issue on android

Hi Looking for some help. I have set up gmail on my dads phone. He is getting emails however some of them are going into his inbox and others are going into 'important'. Can i change a setting so that all incoming emails go straight into his inbox...he will be very confused otherwise! Thanks in advance

Go to Settings/Inbox and select the inbox type you want to use.

In this case, select Default.

I don't have an Android phone handy so not sure of the settings options on the app. You can do this on the web though.
