We are having a party in kingfisher hall for the young lad (6) next week and looking for any tips for food. Previously we have just bought random selection of junk but this time we want to get warm food. We were thinking of ordering takeaway pizza as one option. Another was to cook sausage rolls, cocktail sausages, chicken goujons, etc etc at home, wrap in tin foil and bring down - only thing is it will take a bit of cooking at home and then keeping it warm for the party will be tricky. I can see it being stone cold by the time they're ready to eat. The party is midweek in the afternoon and there will be 20-25 kids there. Has anyone done anything similar before? Is there good value to be had with caterers rather than cooking at home. We were looking at budget of €50-€60.
    Any advice?

Does Superquinn next to the Kingfisher have a hot deli ,
If so you could see what they have and see will they take an order for a time that suits you . Just a case of someone leaving the party and collecting it.
Should stay hot long enough for the short trip.

Ps Just been informed by the better half that they Used to do party food (packages) but she is not 100% sure if they still do ,
