Can anyone recommend a vacuum packer for general home use and use in Sous Vide?

Two types of vacuum sealer on the market. The suction pump and sealing bar type that is ££. These are not suitable for sealing anything with liquid content. They are reasonable cheap and functional. Then there are the chamber vacuums that are largely commercial equipment and cost ££££. Which are you after?

Im not going to spend a fortune but I don't want to buy junk either. I want to vacuum pack meat, fish, coffee beans, pizza and bread dough, dinner portions like lasagne. Id like to understand the limitations with liquid, I see a lot of mentions of people packing liquids in the cheeper machines.

I had a cheap suck and seal machine for around 40 quid. It got contaminated when I left it on too long trying to seal a sauce for freezing. It used to frustrate the life out of me when trying to do anything for sous vide. Eventually I binned it because the disappointment with it was too great. IIrc it was a Lakeland machine. Sorry, not much help.
