I got a "free" invite, for this event, in the post today from Irish Runner magazine. I assume it's from my subscription for the magazine.

I can't make it so it's free to anyone who wants it....

I'll take it if not already gone. Thx

    Hi all,

Bit of a random last ditch effort, but it seems there was a problem with my registration for the Limerick Run. I was wondering if there is anyone out there who has registered, but is now unable to do the half marathon? Willing to pay for race pack!! I've done the training and am (clearly) desperate!

    Thanks in advance.

Bella Italia on Thomas St is fairly decent, reasonable & central

Arrived at 3:30, only L and XL shirts left. Really don't understand how so many big races get quantity of sizes wrong seeing as shirt size is asked at registration.

i'd guess it was because of all those that changed their mind when they saw the actual size. bunch of people doing that wheni was there.i'd imagine there is a fair bit of "well i;m training for a 6 mile, i'll be a slim medium by the time it comes". but then still need a large/XL.

Its a no win really, another race i was at they ran out of mediums, had loads of L/XL left, and the complaint was that surely they know most people doing these were fit and a medium.

    Bag drop label?

Anyone know the story on this, it says the number needs to be written on a label on the bag, but they didn't give one. Do they have labels/markers at the bag drop area? First marathon i've done where they don't give a label or have a bag that you can write on.

Also, any advice on parking for the marathon (for someone not from limerick and driving in the early morning).

    Well done.
    Excellent running.
