Hi, I have a HTC one, just bought last year and I was wondering can I use it to connect to the internet on my ipad2?? If you know I can, could you please give me simple instructions. Thanks.

Yes, you just need to enable it on the phone

Then on the pad find the wifi signal sent out by your phone and connect.
Note that your data cost on the phone will go up.
