Deleting emails via Laptop and Phone

When i delete emails (eircom.net) on my laptop they still how up on my mobile phone and vice versa.How do I change this.

HI MAYOMICK

You would need to delete them from your deleted items folder to make sure this does not happen.

Thanks for reply.I found a setting on mobile phone and when I delete on phone they are deleted on Laptop.However when I delete on Laptop they still appear on phone even though I have Thrash cleared.?
