Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Did borini just hobble off slowly and jog back on as soon as he crossed the line?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 10,161 ✭✭✭✭M5

our answer to this is an unfit, out of form striker. The squad is pathetically thin

Dummett coming on? Is Santon injured?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 10,161 ✭✭✭✭M5

much more likely to be 3:0 that 2:1

While sunderland are not attacking much, NUFC are completely toothless

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,723 ✭✭✭bazual

Unlucky Johnson, completely outclassed here. Going to be a worrying end of season when we realise theres no Remy, De Jong, Colo or Cabaye next season. What is left is not good enough.

Shola has had 5/6 decent chances and done nothing with them...

Look out Sunderland, here comes Sylvian "like a new signing" Marveaux

    Ouch!

    Owner who couldnt care less
    DOF who is delusional
Manager who does not have a clue

this is what happens unfortunately, survival assured so fat mike has his free global advertising vehicle for the next year, football or the club simply do not matter to this lot

10 shots on target vs 5, more passes, more possession and yet atrocious.

Great result to take Sunderland into a massive home game against Hull.

    And so it begins:

    Steve Gardner ‏@SteveGardnerITV 9m
Firecracker thrown at police outside SJP

    Chronicle tweeted:

Dreadful scenes on Bigg Market as young #Nufc fans hurl bottles at police

Police wearing riot helmets have now arrived next to Revolution Bar and are looking on as the crowd continue to rain bottles and other missiles towards them. We're filming and photographing this from the Chronicle windows. The noise is immense and the police presence is getting bigger by the minute. It's always the Bigg Market where the trouble begins. Please do take care in this area until the disturbance is cleared.

Wow, that was one of the most gutless performances I've seen from us in a while. No clue, no passion, no plan b.

Credit to Sunderland. Absolutely bossed us.

Incredible that they're the team who were on the cusp of relegation before kick off.

I'm just so brainwashed from watching utter tosh for the last couple of years I think mate. Give it another few months and Poyet might actually turn me into a positive fan :pac:

That Hull game next week is massive. After that we're away for three games in a row against City, Arsenal and Liverpool because of the cup final.

Sunderland were excellent today, thought Bridcutt was very good and will prove to be a great signing. Colback had the game of his life.
