    Monday
11 mile LSR. I had nt a notion of doing this when I left the house but I was feeling good at 4 miles so I said I'd do 7. I was feeling good at 7 so I said I'd do 10 and then I added 1 more! It must have been the cream sponge cake I had at lunch that gave me energy!

Nice run SfM, especially off a low mileage base, be interested to see how you feel tomorrow as I was in a hoop today after 9 miles last night (my longest run in nearly 10 weeks!)

Did you manage a consistent pace throughout?

    TbL

I will be in a heap alright because I forgot the school clean up was on this evening and walked another 4 miles cleaning the approach roads to the school! I managed a consistent pace but it was far too fast avg 8.50 pace! I have run 10 mile LSR s the past two weeks so hopefully I won't suffer too much. Planning a nice slow trot around the pitch tomorrow.

I have just about settled now, thanks! I'd say there will be some strange runs posted on this log between now and Sept 1 st! Grass is easier on the legs though so every cloud has a silver lining!

11 mile LSR, 30 min core
    Tuesday

Hols later this week so won't be updating. Runners in bag but only ever do 4/5 miles at a time on hols and plenty of swimming.

    Enjoy the hols :-)

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,297 ✭✭✭SamforMayo

Well I'm back! Fab hols, only ran about 7 times 3/4 miles each. I did however swim for 45 minutes flat out ever morning.
Only gained 2 lb s over the 2 weeks, not bad! Will have to drop them before my next holiday in 10 days time.

Wednesday - 7 miles easy, 20 min core work. Really enjoyed this run, despite loving the heat on hols it's hard work running even early in the morning, so this was refreshing
