Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

How can Alan Smith say the offside was tight? Clearly level at worst.

Dare I say Gerrard is doing a good job for the 3rd game in a row.

Really? I think he's been pretty poor and doesn't know what he's doing in this deeper position

Sturridge has now 28 goals in 35 apps for Liverpool

What has he done wrong in this game?

We are missing a conclusive angle but I've a mild suspicion one of sturridge's limbs was off. Might just have been an arm though. Will see at HT no doubt

That being said, nice to see the benefit of the doubt being given.

I think he is growing into it, sitting more, timing tackles better and restricting his passing. Why do you say he has been poor?

Arms don't count, every other body part does though. I assume you know that though ;)

How did we not score there?

I thought it was the torso that counted not limbs.

That's what I said "might just have been an arm though"

The "though" highlighting that an arm being offside is insignificant.

    Sorry, thought that was clear.

Toure lucky not to get a yellow card

Are these the worst first 11 we've played this season ?

Seem to have nothing about them.

Suarez and Sturridge (refuse to call them that stupid nickname) is such an impressive combination, got a bit of everything between them.

Vis a vis gerrard, another good defensive tackle and pass...still waiting as to what makes him poor today?

I read your post again after I replied and got what you meant then, not before though. Half reading while watching the game is a recipe for misunderstanding though.

Suarez would frustrate the life out of you if you played with him, he never seems to shut up and stop giving out :)

He hasn't done anything wrong really. But I presume the idea of Gerrard playing there is to be a deep lying playmaker? If so he doesn't know what positions to be in to receive the ball and looks lost at times

    Nice run from Roberto Carlos.
