Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Apple TV 3 Jailbreak

    Hi,

    I have an Apple TV (3 I Think) running firmware 6.0.2,

    Is it possible to jailbreak this so i can put xmbc on it?

    Cant find anything on this on net.

    Grateful for any advice

    As far as I know there's still no jailbreak for 3rd generation Apple TV's.

    theres a new one due out

    Apple is reportedly contemplating the addition of TV tuner technology into the next Apple TV, which would allow the set-top box to connect to existing cable boxes, permitting users to view and switch cable channels through Apple TV.

    AM fairly sure its ATV3
    In the about field in general the model is MD199B/A
    and TV Resolution is 1080p
    Software is 6.0.2(6646.81.1)

    PlexConnect will work, if you want to set up a Plex Media Server. If you're comfortable enough with jailbreaking, PlexConnect isn't that difficult to get going.
