Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Hi all, here is my dilemma: I have an IPOD touch which I got in 2008. When I go to charge it I get a picture message saying to connect it to I tunes. When I do this I get the message "i tunes has detected an iPOD in recovery mode. You must restore this iPOD before it can be used with iTunes." If I restore will all my music be deleted. I have about 5000 songs on my iPOD. I don't have the songs backed up on any computer so that is why I cant afford to have them deleted.
    Thanks in advance.

Yes it will delete your music if you restore.

You can get software to move your music from the iPod to your PC though. Not sure of the name, been years since I've done it.

Also, there's plenty of videos on YouTube about it.

Sharepod is what you're looking for.

Thanks for the replies guys, have just downloaded sharepod but it is not recognoising ipod, which is strange because i tunes recognoises it. i can only assume it is not recognoising it because it needs to be restored.
looks like it is back to the repair shop with it!!

Download tiny umbrella and use it to kick the iPod out of recovery.
