Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

iPad issue (jumping screen)

Last year my IPad 2 had a screen replaced.

It never worked 100% ever since and I returned it too the repair store on a couple of occasions but no joy.

For the past year the digit "9" and the letter ""o"" would double press every time you press the key the one time.

Now today the screen occasionally takes a fit of stuttering and buttons being activated without even touching the screen.

Has anyone any advice or experience of this? I'm trying to establish is it worth repairing as last repair cost me €160

Was it a genuine screen? Sounds like the digitiser is having a few issues there...

€160 for ipad2 screen? Where is this?
€80 would be a more reasonable price;)

By the sounds of it that's just a cheap grade screen or possibly whoever fit it damaged the cable while doing so.

Out of interest was the wifi working before you dropped it in?

I think I'll sell it as it is on Adverts, anyone know how much to sell it for? I'm resigned to just getting a new one at this stage as I took it back to the same repair store several times and always got fobbed off.
