Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Hi. I'm looking for a drummer to work on my Black metal/Drone/Folk project, Thiirt Ouaan. Here's a link to a rough demo of one of the tracks that'll give you a good idea of the general sound: https://soundcloud.com/thiirt-ouaan/afar-rough-demo
I'm not planning to turn this into a full band or to gig any time soon but I wouldn't rule either out in the future.
The drumming style that I'd be looking for is difficult to explain but it would draw from black metal, various European folk traditions, tribal, oriental, classical, 'post-metal' etc. At times sparse and at times huge and powerful.
I look forward to hearing from all you interested parties. BongAxeman.

Where abouts in donegal are you based? And by sparse to powerful do mean post metal like where it goes from very simple, passive beats to all out blasting.

I'm in Ardara atm but I don't mind travelling for practice. And yeah that's pretty much exactly what I mean but the powerful bits might not necessarily be a blastbeat, sometimes it might be more in the style of when classical music gets heavy or what have you. It'd depend on what the music demands.
