24 hours without a new post. Must be some record!

Hope you all had a lovely Christmas day.

Hope you're all having a lovely peaceful and safe time with your loved ones. It's been quiet and relaxed here (for the most part; a house crammed with with four adult daughters and two cranky parents is bound have its moments :D) and I'm feeling the love from the VIPs in my life.

    Much love, ladies!

I think my 4am dinner of microwaved potato stuffing, spiced beef and turkey was the best thing about last night after dancing my arse off. Thank you Mammy for loading some dishes full of food for me before I came back to my apartment.

Looking to 2015 have a thesis to write while working full time, am taking a chance joining a small startup, and am going to get fit and quit smoking.

It's too early and too Sunday for work. >.<

Hope everyone had a lovely Christmas! Mine was ok once I got through the family drama quotient for the occasion. Off to Edinburgh in the morning with himself. Can't wait. :D

Bit of cabin fever going on here. Back to work tomorrow and I'm kind of looking forward to it. Little things are beginning to drive me insane.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,965 ✭✭✭SarahBeep!

Cabin fever here too but I was out last night, didn't get home till nearly 5 am but found that mam had put a hot water bottle in my bed! What a woman.

Christmas has essentially consisted of me pretending that I'm not in final year
    ....PASS THE WINE

also...I have found myself attached to these boots online....they're kind of expensive and I'm trying to justify buying them with Christmas money...they looks so comfy...

they're also reduced by a little bit...THAT'S A SIGN RIGHT?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 32,513 ✭✭✭✭Lucyfur

It's winter, boots are practical. Get them!!

And post the link so maybe I can get them too :D

....I'm not going to lie...the 'fur lined' is what's drawing me XD
Also...(WARNING: extreme nerd moment ahead) they remind me of the boot in Harry Potter and the Goblet of fire that was used as a portkey...

They look slightly different on littlewoods too

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 32,513 ✭✭✭✭Lucyfur

OMG they ARE like the portkey boot!

    I like, I like a lot!

Look on Debenhams UK site and see if they're cheaper in sterling!

Well, Cat is a really good boot brand, and their stuff tends to last a long time. So between that and the very cool Harry Potter link, it would be almost a crime Not to get them

amazon are giving me a free ebook
I don't know whether to choose Stardust since i love the movie so much and never read it, or girl with the dragon tattoo?

Actually I think if I got Stardust it would have to be a book not a kindle
    That solves that then

Ladies, I'm doing Dryathlon (off the drink for January) for Cancer research in honour of my lovely Nan a who died of pancreatic cancer in October. I won't post the link here but if anyone even has a spare euro to give, please do PM me and I will send you the link for my JustGiving page. I am aware that this is shameless begging but don't worry, I'll only ask once :)

This is also a bit of a personal challenge, I haven't been too impressed with , my own drinking in recent months!
