I'm often asked if I'm part Spanish/French/Italian actually. Customers will ask if I'm local, which more often than not translates to 'Are you foreign?'. They're usually surprised when I say I'm from down the road :pac:

I've been asked a few times if I'm from up north too, because of my accent

When I was in Germany I had Germans come up to me and ask me for directions (at least that's the gist I got, not speaking the language and all) I was like "uh, sorry, I'm not from around here..."

Wasn't quite sure how to take that, but at least I knew the whole blending in plan was working.

Having a mad cleaning spree because my apartment has become seriously filthy since I've started exams, and D is staying over tomorrow night so I want it to be in proper order. :o At the stage now where it's a LOT messier since I've started cleaning etc, hopefully it'll improve soon though! I'm also hoping that I'll have that pleasant "ah, now my head is a bit clearer" when I can actually see a patch of the floor! :pac:

So sorry to hear that Sarah, hope you're ok. <3

The locals in vienna would talk to other tourists in front of me in a queue in english, but to me it was always automatically german.
I figured I must have been giving off a vibe :p

M&S do really, really poor fits. If you're in Dublin try Arnotts, Debenhams or Peaches and Cream and you'll get a better result. The guide linked on A Bra That Fits should give you a better idea too - it wouldn't surprise me if you ended up in a 28 or 30 band with your frame size, possibly a D cup.

I know this post was ages ago but I was just looking at the Debehems site, going to make time to go and try on a few bras, I think I'll need a 30C cup. I roughly measured myself there and I'm about 31 inches and I know a C cup fits me pretty good.

What prompted me to look on the website tonight was mainly the fact that I can fit four fingers comfortably between by back and the back strap of my bra! That can't be good considering the back strap is supposed to be the thing giving you support!

Do you think that's more important if the bra doesn't have under wire? I always think they are not supported enough because I don't wear under wire? So I'm going to make a date to hop to Limerick (closest to me) and have a snoop round. I rather try them on first then go to the trouble of ordering them and finding they don't fit.

A guy I was interested in and seemed to be interested in me is only in my college for Erasmus, so he's heading back to Spain after the exams are over! :( Didn't realise until very recently when I asked him (as I got to know him through a club). Ugh, it would happen to me.

Four fingers under your band generally means that your band is a little too big - you should be able to fit two under a well-fitting bra. If you're going down in a band size from what you were wearing before but want to keep the cup size consistent, go up a cup size. You may want to try a D or even a DD cup if you're trying a tighter band.

Soft cups are a more difficult fit but not impossible. The Freya Deco comes in a non-wired version - but do try underwires again in a properly fitting bra, they should be less uncomfortable in something that fits properly and it will look better too.

What is it with the weekends! I find them so boring and drag on, I love the routine during the week but then it's frustrating come Saturday. I must be the only person wanting Monday to hurry on.

Lost my wallet :( Pretty sure I lost it in the gym I swim in on Fridays as I had it before swimming buying a drink and didn't have it when I went looking this morning. Not handed in and couldn't find it there earlier. People who don't hand things in are such F*cking arseholes...take the pennies out of it all you like but hand the F*cking thing in :mad:

Just got treated so rudely by an MEP on my way home from a nice lunch with my mum and sister. I'm actually fuming. Apparently you can't disagree withwithout being accused of being in another political party. And so rudely.

No vote for you, ásshole.

Can't be dealing with politicians anymore. After watching Tom Gilmartin's son last night on the Late Late I genuinely have no care for Irish politics anymore.

Paul Murphy from the Socialist Party. Challenged him over basically telling people he will get rid of the water tax (which is utter bs). Told him it was unfair to act like he could get an EU directive reversed (which he cannot do, especially not as a member of the third largest EU political party) so water tax is not an issue for these elections. Water taxes are going to happen. Immediately asked (quite aggressively) "what party are you a member of?". When I said none, he replied, "I'm sure that's not true", then ignored me and immediately started saying water tax was an incredibly important issue and one he would address. Through a megaphone. In my face.

I think they believe that if they shout loud enough their bullshít will magically be true. And I mean that for all politicians.

Edit: Herisson, I did that with Facebook. Haven't been on it in over a month. Can't say it's helped loads with study, but it's very liberating!

Ugh I'm actually hoping Paul Murphy calls to my door ... And I hate canvassers. I would just love to call him out in particular for the sheer b****cks he spouts.

Hope the wally didn't wreck your nice day!

I knew it was a stupid idea, and still I did it.

Feeling a small bit down today, and I have the house to myself with Rory. Brainbox here decided to watch a film, a film I knew wouldn't cheer me up, that I knew would make me sadder. I sat and watched Grave of the Fireflies.

    The world is grey now.

My face is so sunburned, I've red enough cheeks as it is, and now I'm getting a really bad headache on top of it

On the other hand, we had a fantastic day at the first even ladies gaelic football development day blitz in London with over 80 girls there - there was one group from a school, all black girls who were cracked, so much fun. Shattered isn't the word though

This has been trending on Facebook (Ironic?:p):
Though I thought it was cringy, it makes a fair point!! I do admit I get stupidly jealous when I see the people on Facebook with 1,000 friend and a hundred likes on all their photos and me with 300 friends!
I was desperate for going on Facebook every five minutes when I had an essay to write and I knew that nothing had happened in those five minutes!:pac: I'd write a sentence, then go check FB!:pac:

I know, I just thought ''Why, why must you rhyme?'' :pac: The video comes across as a bit up itself tbh, but the message is kind of good even though they stress people to like and share it!

Tweeted about Gerry Adams earlier and this whole saga not being about him, but about Jean McConville and her family. After picking my phone up a few hours and have so many retweets and replies. Some uncomfortable ones from unionists/loyalists telling me how bad SF are and clearly pushing an agenda. Some uncomfortable ones from republicans basically calling me stupid and pushing another agenda.

Not sure which make me more uneasy... :/

Too far in advance to check online. They might be able to tell you if you ring them though. EYE is 091-780000. IMC is 091-566771.

(edit - hope it's ok to post the numbers here since they're publicly available on their websites?)

Cena she just said that she couldn't surf the web at the moment.

Sammy I checked both websites and the full listings aren't up yet. The eye cinema said that it's listings for next weekend won't be up til Tuesday. That seems to be pretty standard.

Just back from A&E.. They think I had a seizure. They let me home because I'm not on my own, I have someone to keep an eye on me. I'm a little freaked out though. I don't remember it at all and I didn't know where I was when I came around. :(
