The young lads I buy aren't incase they rise to 99 it's so they hopefully rise a bit and I can sell them on and make a small profit. Most are 75 or so, do you want a load of 75 players?

I've been buying youngsters and free agents over the last few days. On all but one I did minimum bids; for the most part, the majority of my youth team are players no one else showed interest in or bid for....

    speaking of risers.....

    Jean-Philippe Gbamin got a +4 to 82 today.

Sir Bobby Robson earned a draw with FC Porto against Valencia.

The match ended 2 - 2 between FC Porto and Valencia in their Division 1 fixture.

Benteke scored a goal and was later voted Man of the Match for his performance.

Jovetić was also on the scoresheet for his side.

Shane Coleman earned a draw with Palmeiras against Estudiantes.
The match ended 2 - 2 between Palmeiras and Estudiantes in their Division 3 fixture.
Pogatetz and Lambert were amongst the goalscorers.

Ya Konan got 2 assists on his debut and I must say, Lambert is some man to score!

Another draw. It was away to Liverpool so I'm not too disappointed but with the results above me, I'm pretty much out often title race :(

Matthew Scorr steered US Palermo to victory against Shanghai Shenhua.
US Palermo beat Shanghai Shenhua 3 - 1 in their Division 3 fixture.
Joaquín scored a goal and was later voted Man of the Match for his performance.
Balotelli was also on the scoresheet for his side.

Another win which keeps me joint 2nd. I also get some breathing room with Stuttgart,Palmeiras and Estudantes all dropping points.

Tommy Cahir steered AS Roma to victory against Olympiacos.
AS Roma outclassed Olympiacos and beat them 3 - 1 in their Division 2 fixture.
Totti scored a goal and was later voted Man of the Match for his performance.
Lamela and Diamanti were also amongst the goalscorers.

Hopefully that is totti back in form for me.. Keeps me in the promotion race for the moment anyway..

Willow Murphy earned a draw with Estudiantes against Palmeiras.
The match ended 2 - 2 between Estudiantes and Palmeiras in their Division 3 fixture.
Hoilett scored a goal and was later voted Man of the Match for his performance.
Williams was also on the scoresheet for his side.

The opportunity to put a little bit of distance between ourselves and the play-off chasing pack was lost as we took the lead twice but pegged back within minutes each time. In truth though, if either team deserved to win it would probably have to be Palmeiras so I'll gladly take a point! A point which takes also us to the 40 point barrier, just in case things do start to go pear-shaped on us.

You beat Inter Milan 0-2 with Kaka & Young scoring.
Kolarov also got injured and will be out for 3 weeks!

Cheers for that dude, good win, unlucky to lose Kolarov because he's my first choice backup for defence and midfield (my squad and formation means I can shuffle a few players around and bring him in to cover a loss at centre back, on the wing or in the middle).

What does the table look like now?

Sorry to be annoying ya Blobby, just curious!

    Still in 5th. 5 points between 1st and 6th.

    Kiev's form

    You're..

    2pts off 1st
    1pt off 2nd
and you're joint on 44pts with Aston villa and Roma but are 5th because of GD.

For the record, my post was about Div 1 and my placement :P

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 949 ✭✭✭The Governor

The Governor steered Werder Bremen to victory against Standard Liège.
Werder Bremen outclassed Standard Liège and beat them 3 - 0 in their Division 4 fixture.
Forlán scored a goal and was later voted Man of the Match for his performance.
Sigurdsson and Arnautovic were also amongst the goalscorers.

Up to 5th, 2 points of 3rd, we're well in contention for the play offs.

Extremely unhappy all the same should be doing far better.

4 draws in 6 will do that.

At this rate I'm going to draw myself down to mid-table
