Great start for atleti.
Debutants Lewandowski with 2 assists, and Callejon with a goal and an assist hitting the ground running and settling in well at their new club.

1st game in Division 2 and happy with a 0-0 with a lot of people's favourite for the title Leverkusen. Actually could have won had it not been for a dodgy offside call which cancelled out a goal on me. Anyway only 39 points left to get to keep the Chairman happy

Willow Murphy was unable to prevent a Estudiantes de LP defeat to Sporting CP.
Estudiantes de LP slumped to a 1 - 0 defeat against Sporting CP in their Division 3 fixture.

Sporting Lisbon showing exactly why I have them tipped for glory this season.

Meanwhile, the main talking point at the Estadio Cuidad was off the pitch as there was a fascinating spectator watching Estudiantes get beaten by the superior Portuguese side.

So a nice start to the season but like last season want to get the magic 40 in the bag ASAP as my form is likely to nose dive at some point

Haven't been paying attention at all lately,didn't know the season kicked off today.
Tactics were very negative from my last league game last season as I hadn't logged in to change,drew 2-2 at home so can't complain really,one of my players did get banned for 3 games though

TOMOVIĆ takes the legs of HERRERA. He was nowhere near getting to the ball.
Red Card Red Card - TOMOVIĆ can have no complaints as he gets his marching orders.


Poor oul Herrera had to have his legs stitched back on after the match :eek::eek::eek:

I know ya but I've seen that type of sending off before but I don't think I've seen a 3 match ban before,must have been pretty bad.

Make Hanover a tough nut to crack, make the AWD a fortress.

First game up and we lose 1 0 at home to Galatasaray, had 36% possession and lucky it stopped at 1, in the relegation zone already! Damn you Gala!

Next up an away trip to Sporting who I tipped for promotion
