Google Maps Weirdness

Today Google Maps (new version) started acting up really strangely. Roads and other features have started appearing and disappearing randomly at different zoom levels. Here are a few examples of what I'm seeing.

What is weirder is that if I hit F5 to refresh, the map briefly appears as it should, but as soon as the search box reappears top left, it reverts back again.

Other weird things include text that turns itself into strange elongated lines that move around following the cursor when you pan the map (you can see some of these on the 3rd screengrab.)

It works perfectly under Internet Explorer, works perfectly on other PC's running the same version of Firefox (27), and works perfectly on the same PC running FF on a Windows 7 VM. I'm running Windows 7 64-bit.

All video drivers are up to date, I've tried completely removing Firefox, including all profiles, running Firefox in safe mode, I've scanned for malware, pretty much everything, and have finally caved in and reverted back to the old version of Google Maps.

    Any more ideas?
