Bringing your dog to Canada

Hi just wondering if anybody ever brought their pets over with them to Canada and if so is here any advice on the best way of doing it? I have a little jack russell terrier that iv had for 5 years

Talk to Joe, Aubrey will ring or Joe will ring Aubrey, problem solved. How long a dog survives in a container, Aubrey will tell you.

With Air Canada (maybe with others too) you can bring your pet on the plane when leaving the country. You`d have to get a very small container for him. Although whether they fly direct from Ireland I don`t know, maybe from the UK.

I don't think there is much problem bringing a dog into Canada - we just brought one in from South Africa via London with no issues. But bringing one back to Ireland may be more costly and time-consuming.
