I've never seen him play so well. Unreal darts from Thornton.

Had a similar performance last year in the Premier League, when he puts it all together he is brilliant to watch. 8 180's!

What happened? Hear from friends who were there that their night was ruined

Searched Twitter for darts fighting and apparently there was fighting and riots and police and general war.

Surprised it's taken this long for something like this to happen really, the drunkness levels at these things are mind boggling.

The state of people at the Grand Prix quarter finals night is mad, far worse than any nightclub.

I said to the missus as we were watching that I'd be amazed if there wasn't a few scuffles. You can't put that amount of boozed up revved up people together and expect nothing to happen.

The pdc and sky are encouraging it with the noiseometer bollox.

If Taylor can not beat Whitlock tomorrow night, i think he can forget about this premier league. I'm shocked how bad he has started, i had a bet for Wright to beat him last week (just because the odds were so big and taylor not in form) but can not see him losing to Whitlock.

    Some display this from Wright

Great display of finishing from Wright but the crowd are really acting the bollox and made it very tough for Lewis.

Lewis is probably coming across as a sore loser there but Wrights antics before throwing that last dart at tops was not on.

what health issue did whitlock have?

  • Registered Users Posts: 904 ✭✭✭squadro

104 avg for phil, just needs to build up the auld belly and he will back on form.:)

wow at that interview from Taylor. For the right reasons for once, being very honest and forthcoming, said he will give up the game within a year if he cant get his form back

Brilliant from Barney. That's a great win. It's just a pity he can only seem to produce that form every now and again these days.

Van Gerwen had a bit of a shocker, especially on his doubles. Still had a great chance to get a draw out of a high scoring Barney. Just shows the level we are used to seeing from him.

    Anderson won 7-5

Good game, Anderson played well, averaged 108 and hit a 170 checkout
