    Hi an eircom technician arrived out to my home place few years ago to install broadband in house and when plugged in modem/router he realised line coming from pole to house doesn't support broadband Anyway of gettin this line renewed from pole? And who is liable for cost?! The line length is no longer than 30/40 meters long. Thanks

    I apologise for the delay, we had completely missed your post/thread.

    It sounds like your line is a carrier line as carrier lines cannot hold broadband. There is no process to have this changed but if you would lo PM me your landline number/ address I'll check if this is definitely a carrier line.
