That was dreadful. Ulster lucky enough to scrape that win 10-7.

Meh, hardly matters, we will take it in horrible conditions, it was a must win game and we got it so job done.

Absolutely. No Irish province wanted to see Ospreys win that one.

Ugly win but I'd imagine Ulster would have taken it if it were offered

Two tries butchered and lucky then to hang on.

Aye, we were lucky to hang on but everyone needs a bit of luck. Actually when you think about it as you say we did butcher two tries (bit harsh to say butchered maybe) so actually with a bit more like it could have been a very different evening.

I just loved seeing Henderson though, excellent cameo.

A bit more awareness from the Ospreys wings on two different occasions in the second half and that could have been a very different finish. Add in the scrum half ending the game like that and the Ospreys coach will be pissed off at the result!

Just watching Payne today and the criticism of Cave not being pacy enough for International rugby could be well valid for him too.

Payne has plenty of speed. He has an eye for a gap and a mismatch which seems to give him an extra second with the ball.

If you watch that try against Zebre he actually seems to accelerate as he gets closer to the try line.

    I don't think that's a great clip as it's a second row he's out sprinting really.

I'm not saying he's slow but he's not a rocker either.

Oh feck, here starts another myth!

Of all the matches to bring up the "Cave has no pace" myth after, why the one where he scored a try by bursting through a gap at pace!

Lol I didn't mean to get into the whole Cave is slow/not fast debate I was just trying to point out that Payne and Cave look to run at the same speed.

In saying that Cave's try highlighted where using your head to analyse a weakness in the opposition defence and then knowing how to exploit is far better than out and out pace. His pace didn't make that try for him tonight, noticing that it was a prop inside a small outhalf and picking a line to split them did.

Well that was poor. Henderson looked a class apart when he came on but some of the older heads, meh. A game Ruan Pienaar will want to forget.
