Ok so i recently posted here about a couple of problems and now I'm looking to do something about it. I've Come to the end of my tether about the audio on the Nexus 5 and I'm looking to give it a boost. My headphones are Sennheiser HD 25 ii.

I know i can go out and find reviews and all that but I'm looking for opinions from boards members as i find reviews can be a bit one dimensional at times and don't take into account day to day usage a lot of the time and deterioration of the product over time etc...

So what I'm wondering is for a budget of ~€150 what would be my best options
Would I be better with a DAC/AMP or just an AMP and take into account it's portable

    thanks

EDIT: I Read cyanogenmod 11 enables audio support via USB on the GO on the nexus 5 so a USB DAC would not be a problem :D

I've a fiio e7 and it's great, comes in on Amazon at just under €100. Have it coming out of my pc. I'm sure it's compatible with my HTC one but I can't find a micro to mini USB cable. You can run it as an amp off any phone though. It's a great bit of kit.
