Hey, So I deferred this year in college but I'm hoping to do a J1 this coming summer. I have/cant get a letter from the college saying that I'll be back next year, etc. I'm just wondering am I actually eligible for a J1 visa, event though I technically wasn't in college this year? Usit are still doing them for €99 until…

Hey,

The only way you can apply (and even then, your visa is not guaranteed) is by proving that you will be returning to college after the visa. This proof should be accepted by the visa sponsoring companies (i.e. USIT).
