I have a 40 year old hard drawn plans with imperial measurements that I want to convert to AutoCAD.

Does anyone know how much it would cost to get this done?

Sorry, can't help you with your car troubles, check out the motoring section on boards http://www.boards.ie/vbulletin/forumdisplay.php?f=47

I'm looking for rough pricing on getting a old plan converted to CAD.
    Is it something between €20 - €80, or €300 - €500 or more expensive?

I'd give a rough price if you PM me. I like many here would need a lot more details like
    • type of structure,
    • size of structure,
    • year drawn - conversion of imperial to metric scale,
    • Plan only or include Sections & Elevations?
    • Domestic or Commercial structure?
    • Drawing scale required?
    • Numbers of copies required of new "Plan"?
    • Do you need a copy on usb, if so which drawing format?

An oil change for a fiesta is easier to quote that changing a timing belt in a BMW
    Hope that helps.

To be honest you would be better off getting a Revit 2014 or Archicad 3d model drawn up. Otherwise you might find your AutoCAD plans are out of date in a few years time. I like many moved away from AutoCAD last year. I only model in 3D now - its much better for materials list, design, resolving clashes etc.
