Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Crusaders generally muck this half. Way too panicky and not enough patience. I would be happy not to see Ray Lee Lo again this season. Andy Ellis on please, has a cool head.

Ellis is such a better option. So much better at organising the attack and just adds more speed to the game.

Didn't think the boot to the head would have been spotted only for crotty to run 50 metres to the red to ask for a replay.
Certain red card to be fair but the crusaders have done nothing to kill this game off.
Expect them to kick on after half time and get the win comfortably. Although that would mean all the play is up the other end from me!!

I can't believe the Sharks have scored!

And Willi Heinz reinforces my point :(

Sharks score. 17-13 to the Sharks. Crusaders need to wake up.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 6,415 ✭✭✭Swiwi.

Should have been YC but ref didn't want to reduce to 13.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 9,599 ✭✭✭matthew8

I reckon at this point both teams would accept a 4-1 points split.

Ref afraid to bring the Sharks down to 13.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 9,599 ✭✭✭matthew8

The only way the Sharks can win this is if the Crusaders hand it to them on a plate. And they're doing exactly that.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 9,599 ✭✭✭matthew8

What a kick chase from Paul Jordaan. Surely though he was around 10 metres off side.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 6,415 ✭✭✭Swiwi.

Headless chicken stuff from my team. If this kick goes over sharks will have a 7 point lead.

Come on Frans, at least get that distance.

I'd definitely go for the try here. Territory is massive in this game and by taking the points (and they may not even get them) they hand the territory back to the Sharks.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 9,599 ✭✭✭matthew8

Calling a crooked line out when the Sharks didn't even contest. There's no need for the referee to do that. Let them play.

Alberts in the bin, Crusaders have to build a lead.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 9,599 ✭✭✭matthew8

    Go on the Sharks! Try!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 4,541 ✭✭✭Davei141

Sharks going to steal this! 30-25 Sharks.

Sharks score. Sharks winning 30-25. Will they actually win it.

Well this has worked out well. Sharks should win this and that leaves them well placed for 1st spot. Memories of Eng v NZ 2003. Ulster fans take note - you can win with 14 or even 13 men.

    Amazing win for the Sharks.

Congrats matthew8, well done. That was just dire from the men in red, hardly the stuff of potential champions. Also gives the Canes and Highlanders a boost. Sharks have destiny in their own hands, will be hard to stop with home advantage.

Crusaders in danger of becoming the 'Munster' of S15 rugby?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 14,150 ✭✭✭✭LuckyGent88

Shocking second half from the crusaders. Have no cutting edge in the backs and never looked like scoring a try.

All credit to the sharks, would have been easy for them to give up with the 14 men or even be delighted with the loosing bonus point but they really wanted to win and prove a point. The celebrations from the squad after told how much this victory meant to them.

    Dangerous from Higginbotham, deserved yellow.

What did he do to get a yellow in the first minute?

Went to block a kick but was late and he led with the elbow.

The Reds couldn't stop a nosebleed. They are playing absolutely awfully.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 7,463 ✭✭✭Kiwi_knock

17-10 to the Rebels. Strong defence by the Reds again :pac:

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,518 ✭✭✭stefan idiot jones

If they don't buck up, I'm gonna twat them all with their wooden spoon.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 9,599 ✭✭✭matthew8

Finally a sign of life from the Reds. They've been good in attack but neither defense has been at the races. Hopefully they sort it out at half time.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 7,463 ✭✭✭Kiwi_knock

    17-17 at half time.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 7,463 ✭✭✭Kiwi_knock

Another lovely try for the Rebels. 24-17.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 9,599 ✭✭✭matthew8

They couldn't defend worse if they tried.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 9,599 ✭✭✭matthew8

If the Reds win this it will be so undeserved. Walsh has done his best to gift it to them.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,518 ✭✭✭stefan idiot jones

At least I got to ride on a bus tonight.

Mike Harris is outstanding at penalty kicks to touch.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 7,463 ✭✭✭Kiwi_knock

Dirty play by Ed. Should hand the win to the Rebels.

    Can't see any headbutt there

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 9,599 ✭✭✭matthew8

Ed O'Donoghue, that is disgraceful. Not only eye gouging but at the worst possible time.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,340 ✭✭✭yimrsg

Ed O Donoghue sent off for hands in the eye and a very kickable pen for the Rebels to win the game.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 7,463 ✭✭✭Kiwi_knock

Rebels go ahead 30-27. Stupid by the Rebels there, no need to contest the ball.

There is something seriously wrong with the Reds.

Just seen that gouging incident, disgusting stuff. I hope he gets banned for a long time.
