    Haha Ritchie

    Cracking game

Yeah, that was cynical to the max. Deserved yellow card. Nice try to the Landers, it's back to 7-5. Great sellout crowd and atmosphere.

Great try! Fekitoa lovely break! And Ben Smith turned Dagg inside out superbly to give Osborne space. Class.

    Ok. I'm wide awake now.

    Loving that score line

I agree with Parker coming on. Sopaga has been very hot and cold, but more cold tonight.

Some game! Ben Smith being fantastic again

Fraternity from Swiwi's alma mater on the field in the form of the opposing Crotty and Burleigh.

Nadolo is kind of the other Folau.

    Fekitoa is awesome

Fekitoa. Again. Twinkle toes with power. Hopefully try stands, it's merited.

  • Subscribers Posts: 41,942 ✭✭✭✭sydthebeat

    Fekitoa excellent.

Nadolo definitely motm so far, he's sliced the Highlanders defense whenever he's carried

Game of the year. Brilliant stuff

What a game this has been! Ben Smith crashes over. Close finish coming up. SXV rugby at its best.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 6,415 ✭✭✭Swiwi.

In hindsight a mistake to start Sopoaga.

  • Subscribers Posts: 41,942 ✭✭✭✭sydthebeat

    Please be a try! !

Try, I reckon. NZ teams just don't "do" dropgoals.

    Ridiculous

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 14,150 ✭✭✭✭LuckyGent88

Can't believe that. Surely they had to give that to the attacking team

    Congrats swiwi.

    Absolutely fantasTic game.

That was the wrong call. 50/50, just give it to the attacking team.

Cheers! Slightly hollow victory, though. As I said above if Sopoaga had been on the bench rather than starting it might have been different.

Well I said Coming in to our double header if we got two points id be happy enough. ... already have them now.

Cant wait for the return game.
Hopefully crusaders might not have that much to play for at that game.

Just saw a pic of the ref getting stitched up under his eye. Accidental headbutt it seems.

This could get very embarrassing on the chiefs.

    8 - 21 already

Chiefs are not the same beast this season. We'll see how this game pans out, but they could even miss out on the playoffs if they are not careful.

Almost an incredible / jammy try set up by Barrett.

Great try - turning into a pasting for the Chiefs.

What the hell is that YC for? Nonsense. Good to see Cruden back.

Your Canes remain very much alive in 2014 pickarooney. Sadly not the Cheetahs...

Game set and match. Chiefs humiliated. Great result for the Canes. NZ conference remains tense and taut with 4 of the 5 teams still right in contention.

Went for Chiefs +31 for the last few minutes

Just seen the score line in hurricanes chiefs game!!
NZ conference just gets tighter and tighter.

This is my first S15 game all season really. It's like watching a different sport (that's no insult to SH or NH rugby though, two different beasts). Superb handling skills

****e, bet is in trouble now

Forwards skills coach is an actual thing in NZ I guess.

I feel like I might have made a mistake in choosing not to get up to watch either game.

The Crusaders v Landers was just excellent. Great skill all round, and went down to the wire. Chiefs have been very flat and not such a good game, but Canes will be delighted with that result. Chiefs have Waratahs, Highlanders, Hurricanes and Blues to come, so they are by no means guaranteed to make the cut. Man, I would be seriously stoked if Saders, Canes and Highlanders made the play offs. Someone just needs to beat the Bulls.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 6,221 ✭✭✭Ugo Monye spacecraft experience

I've just backed the Force minus ten. Was this a silly bet?

New Zealand conference is seriously strong this year.

    Hope not.
I've that as part of an accumulator.

    First two in
    Highlanders +4
    Hurricanes -1

When I do really pay attention to Super 15 it becomes obvious how unfair it is that NZ get to condense all that talent into one 15 man team. They could probably have a North and South Island team or something and they'd both be legitimately competitive at international level. Could be a long 3 match tour for England with all their injuries

Yeah, I'm disappointed by the fact that England will be undermined by the clash with their domestic final, plus a heap of injuries. It looks like NZ 3 England 0, but will have absolutely no bearing IMO on the AI result or the RWC if the 2 sides meet.

Once again the NH has declined a global season, so these lameduck NH tours downunder look set to to continue for the foreseeable future.

On the brighside. Danny Cipriani will be entertaining if nothing else in the first test

Cummins is denied a meat pie by a dubious decision.
