Back door leak on Renault Espace

Hi all, I have an Espace and noticed that a leak appears just above the back window in both corners whenever it rains. My suspicion is that the rain is entering somewhere around the brake light that is mounted on the outside above the window. I had a look at it but cannot figure out how to remove it, anyone got any ideas?…
