Hi,theres a group of us coming up from Cork in a few weeks (all lads mid 30s),looking for recommendations for bars/clubs on sundays.Looking to start off around 5pm and hopefully finish off in a night club, looking for places that are traditionally busy on sundays. As for the club, as long as its relatively busy and not to young a crowd we'll be happy. Is Dandellion or D2 worth a look, are they busy on sundays?.

Come off it. 8.50 a pint is a huge exaggeration. Expect to pay 6-6.50 for pints in temple bar.

    Cassidys Westmoreland St
    The Quays bar, Temple Bar
    The Foggy Dew
    The Hairy Lemon (Stephens Green)
    P. Macs (Opposite Hairy Lemon)

That leaves you around the corner from Dandellion (havent been in years) or a short walk from D2 / Coppers

D2 won't usually be busy on a Sunday unless there is a match on or something.

The classic Flannerys/Coppers combo may suit.

Pygmalion is a great shout, starting off in Diceys for €2 drinks from 5pm. Generally an older crowd in there on a Sunday, but you need to message them on Facebook and book a table (bouncers can be a pain on a Sunday)

Pygmalion sounds like it could be the spot to finish off the night so, cassidys looks like it could be a good spot to kick things off in the afternoon. Is the camden street area worth a look?
