Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I was actually thinking that myself! Hopefully not though. Don't think I ever seen so many goals in a five minute spell before.

Was it a Colombian goalie, who scored an own goal, and was later shot by a gambling cartel ?

No, although 1 f**ker took me for a tour of the country last night (long story between vans & dogs) I'd of given her away.
    Were you out yourself?

No, going to try Cootehill tomorrow night. Allegedly four factory men in attendance and a few butchers.

What amazes me about this soccer is the rubbish the commentators come out with. They're woeful wise men with hindsight. Where was all this wisdom an hour an a half ago?

But sure aren't all sports commentators the same ? It was the old farts on the sideline that turned me off hurling , most of them couldn't tie their shoes but they could shout across the pitch at young lads how to play better

  • Registered Users Posts: 3,442 ✭✭✭Charliebull

    Andres Escobar.

For a buck who dislikes soccer you know a bit,

How the pearl necklace coming along,

To an extent yes. But objectively I think the hurling lads on RTE are streets ahead, and even though Spillane and Brolly spout some sh1t betimes I still think they're better than what I see commenting on the soccer.

Urrrrrrrrgh, just went outside the back door and stood on a huge slug by accident, heard the pop and looked back. Bleeeeeeeugh.:(

I rarely look at soccer, infact outside of the world cup I'd never see it. But I remember that Escobar lark. I think he was a twin and his brother played too.

I'm still working on that necklace. They take time to string together. I'd be doin well to produce a couple of a night :-)

You still playing that rusty trombone?
