Good stuff ,fine hotel,restaurant in hotel pretty good,family friendly restaurants include Pepes ,the thatch just outside town in ballycommon .if you want to sneak out for a nice pint try una Powells in summer hill or Rohan's,old school pubs with good mix of young and old .some nice cafés around town also ,my favs would be cafe q or flynns .enjoy

Yeadh bit of an eyesore to be honest but loads of free parking for people working in town.the arrival of tescos. Dunnes,aldi and lidl were a big hit for Joey .have u seen abbeys new building in toomevara very impressive

I didn't! Is it their manufacturing plant? I had to stick toomevara into sat nav there as hadn't a clue where it was! Seems to be very near Nenagh. Was there an abbey near the original place, is that where the name came from?
