Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

on the family car I need "carrying on business as a farmer" specified on the policy , a lot of companies won't give this

I also need open drive for 25 to 70

also 2 named drivers under 25

have full comp with full NCB protection ,trailer cover

This is on a 2ltr car worth €15k

"cheap" insurance is grand but make sure you have the cover you require especially if you're a farmer

    Are you with FBD?
I find that by the time you compare everything, FBD won't be that far out.
Also we're in a group that gets a substantial discount from FBD and we have two €75 vouchers every year, so have no need to change

They have all that with Fbd on the yokes here, aswell as ncb protection,
It's listed a social domestic and farming or something on the policy!

Handy thing here is all yokes are under Fbd, under 25 named driver is loaded on one policy then listed for free on the rest!

was changing oh's phone the other day and asked would they give me money on a trade in for it, they laughed at me, they did want to keep it though to show people what can happen if you dont have insurance. I changed my phone too, they gave me 15 euro off a new phone, even though the screen was smashed, again if ya dont ask you dont get

Your phone should be covered by your FBD Insurance (think the home policy), I know my iPhone is, they didn't charge anything extra for it when I rang them, think o2 wanted something like €12 per month or something ridiculous like that.

yes FBD, and I'm not ar$e licking them either, we have had our fair share of heated discussions over the years over pricing

another plus is after a few years as a named driver , they give young drivers a policy in their own name

other companies promise this , but tend to forget when the time comes

No redeeming qualities. Wait, I lie, it has one excellent Argentinian steak house. Otherwise it had all the vibe of a construction site in a dodgy West African country.

A total break from things to charge the battery.
There's always the danger in Ireland that you'll feel the need to rush back for some crappy problem.
