Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

A must win for both team but for different reasons. Arsenal to maintain a title challenge and United to keep in touch in the race for top 4. Both teams missing important players and coming off the back of poor results.

    Probable teams:

Arsenal: Szczesny, Gibbs, Koscielney, Mertasacker, Sagna, Arteta, Rosicky, Cazorla, Wilshere, Ozil, Giroud.

Man Utd: De Gea, Evra, Vidic, Smalling, Rafael, Carrick, Fletcher, Mata, Rooney, Valencia, Van Persie.

I fancy Arsenal to sneak it in a very close game.

I think arsenal will win but I thought arsenal would beat Liverpool.

I now predict Moyes to churn out his best performance of the season and beat arsenal, before going back to being crap again.

    3-0 united win.

    Arsenal to win.

    A draw please.

Would keep Arsenal in the battle for 3rd/4th...and keep Moyes in a job.

    50-16

Following our 82-4 win at Fulham

Being serious we could get hammered or nick a win, predictably shít with unpredictable results

    Tight, cautious 0-0 draw.

Game needs an Arsenal goal to open up.

Hope to fu*k Arsenal win. They owe United a smashing.

    2-1 Arsenal

Arsenal should have enough to win this handily.

However, as it's Manchester United I expect us to have a complete brainfart and lose 2-0.

Huge game. Anything less than 3 points for Arsenal will be disappointing. They really need to make a statement after the shambles of the weekend

Be great to get a performance from United hopefully plenty of crossing and getting to the byline.

A united win to make this ****e week get worse.

Would love if Arsenal drop points but cant see past them recovering from the Liverpool game to win tomorrow.

    3-1 Arsenal.

    2-0 Arsenal.

    We'll win the crossing though.

As an Arsenal fan, I'm really not looking forward to this.

Anything but a win is disastrous but we're terrible vrs Utd.

I figure the best way it can go is if everyone gets back to circulating that rumour that a loss will mean the sack for Moyes.

Then the Utd players don't bother, Arsenal win, Moyes goes and everyone's happy.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 9,166 ✭✭✭Fr_Dougal

10-0 to United. I have a feeling Moyles has been holding back all season lulling everyone into a false sense of security.

    Shine on, you crazy diamond.

2-1 Arsenal. RVP will score. 1 of either keepers will commit a howler.

On recent form De Gea is odds on for this. I think Arsenal 4-0. Wenger gave them an absolute rollocking at the weekend apparently. I'd imagine there'll be a backlash from it.

Moyes training (apparently) and tactics are stone age.

I fancy United to get a win here, they will lift their game for one of the top 4. In saying that though I wouldn't be surprised to see Arsenal nick it either, they will be itching to wipe away the memory of their defeat against Liverpool.
Either way I think it will be a good game.

    0-1

Mata to get his first for the champions.

Utd winning 1-0 after 85 minutes and lose the match 2-1 after 95 minutes .

Moyes blames the fourth official for getting it wrong .

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 18,294 ✭✭✭✭rob316

    Can they both loose?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,500 ✭✭✭Drexel

Won't be happy with anything less then an Arsenal win along with a good performance. Need to bounce back.
United have a fûcking hex or something over us tho :)

I'd like a draw but have a feeling Arsenal will win. If I can't find a decent stream of the Liverpool game I'll watch this but holy crap,Man Utd are hard to watch at the moment.

Sunday's game against Fulham felt like it was 5 hours long.

Jack Wilshire to get sent off and Utd to win. 4th is back on (no its not!) while Arsenal go into a tailspin with FA Cup defeat and 7-2 agg drubbing by Bayern.

Comfortable victory for Arsenal and Mertasacker with a huge bump on his head clearing all the crosses.

As with the Liverpool match I can see just about anything happening in this match. Don't fancy an Arsenal win at all though.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,985 ✭✭✭Essien

Have to go with Arsenal here, even though I'm hoping United pull it off.

I'm not reading too much into Arsenals performance v Liverpool, they were caught sleeping for one half against a set of attackers who were simply magnificent for that spell of the game.

United, despite the outstanding individual talent at their disposal, just aren't playing with the kind of guile and pace that enabled Liverpool to do so much damage to the Gunners. Arsenal should be able to cope defensively, as they have been doing for most of the season.

I'll go for 2-1 Arsenal, a goal either side of half time with United pulling one back near the end to ensure a nervy finish.

  • Registered Users Posts: 8,711 ✭✭✭keano_afc

It really should be an Arsenal win considering how poor the opposition is, but its United. We dont know how to play against them.

1-2, Arsenal to go in front but instead of pushing on sit back and get caught on the counter. It'll be deja vu all over again.

Won't get to see this tonight, maybe I'll be better off. After hearing Moyes with his rousing presser yesterday talking about luck again,I'm sure we'll see the usual knock it wide, sling it in approach.

Mertesacker was spotted in Chelsea's training groung this morning getting a loan of Cech's scrum cap to protect his head from all the crosses he expects tonight.

    Draw fo sho.

Rosicky is so past it now though, if he starts it's advantage united.

You obviously havent seen him play recently, you should probably check out his performance against Spurs in the FA Cup.

I've watched a lot of arsenal. Watch them pretty much every time they're on tv, I like their style.

Rosicky is very poor now, maybe the odd game here and there he's good, but on the whole, he's way past it.

I'd predict he'll move on at the end of the season.

Rosicky plays like a 20 year old, full of energy and guile, so underrated!

Are Giggs and Rio coming out of retirement for tonight? :pac:

I'd say this has been one out Rosicky's best seasons for Arsenal. Certainly his most consistent. Probably due to the lack of injury. He has more energy than players years younger

I predict you're talking crap. Rosicky is awesome, having one of his best years with us. So much energy.
