I was expecting them to lose to be honest.

At this stage of the season I really don't care about the results too much.. I just want to see United playing some brave and entertaining football. Its not happening with Cleverly in CM and I don't see how it can. Its dire football and when thats happening you have to look to where the heartbeat of your team should be and ask yourself why the ball isn't going through there anymore and why attacks aren't developing from there straight to attack.
I am in the same boat as you dude, I want to see a promising performance so that we can work on something next season, maybe if we have nothing to aim for I.E. the 4th spot (which is gone now) then we might play more adventurous.....we can only hope....

I was hoping Arsenal would surprise me tonight but they just confirmed their CL place. At the same time the result doesn't stop me from basking in the United disintegration. The result shouldn't distract United fans from the tactics and performance. Mourinho would call it cynical.

The same man that packed the 6 yard box in Old trafford and then slates West ham for the same tactic

I've no great record in calling exact results, but I think this has 0-0 written all over it.
Two teams not in form who will be nervy all the way through, both happy not to be beaten by the other.

For what it's worth I'm a United fan.

It's not often I manage to get one right.

Blessed that the liability that is Patrice Evra wasn't punished. Poor Tom Cleverley made some good interceptions but wasn't in the game against a team where CM is key.

Vidic was lucky not to concede a penalty, he was all over Giroud from minute one.
