Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

The resounding majority of people to ever kick a football, wish they had Gerrard's ball control.

I still fancy Fulham to win this.

Close, we're playing some nice stuff, but some poor finishing.

How's Suarez? Been thinking that he looked tired in the last few games and in need of a break.

Shame the half time whistle has come, we just got our foot on top of this game.

    Riise owes us an OG.

Please sort it out for the second half. I was so optimistic earlier

Some seriously sloppy play going on. We need to come out fighting if we want 4th.

Half time coming at the wrong time for us.

Pathetic display all over the pitch.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 10,386 ✭✭✭✭DDC1990

Not the worst HT score all things considered.

Fulham not offering much except on the counter attack.

What the hell was that right at the death?

You could tell from the first whistle they were dozing, 3 corners for Fulham in 3 as many minutes.

Suarez really wants to score and its starting to effect his game a bit, Sturridge just does score.

Wouldn't say that at all. Final ball has been a bit poor is all.

We do not deserve to be 1-1. Need to sort out our heads, count ourselves lucky, and come out fighting.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,507 ✭✭✭Finical

Much more patience needed in attack and than shock them with the odd killer move.

Keeping the ball will tire them further after their showing on Sunday. Really need to win here.

Suarez does not take breaks unless they are forced. .he's relentless.

Incredible pass from Gerrard and you always have faith in Sturridge in a one on one. Can't believe that Toure own goal though...

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 11,996 ✭✭✭✭billymitchell

Usual display from Liverpool in a game we expect to win, zero urgency.
Also, plan b is needed tonight, our hit them on the counter attack style wont work against a team with 8-9 behind the ball at all times

Either do I. Killer pass not really coming off, but looking dangerous all the same. Were never going to come here and win by 4 or 5 imo.

The last 10 mins of the half gives me hope

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,734 ✭✭✭Fowler87

Only got the last 15 mins but that was a good turn around. Sensational pass by Gerrard and Sturridge keeps his unreal scoring streak going. Cmon redmen

This is a huge 45 minutes in the context of our season. These are the hard ugly yards. They need to be ferocious and ruthless. Come on!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 7,066 ✭✭✭Washington Irving

Players need to come out fresh and act like it's the first half because they don't know how to play in the second.

Where does this urgency sh1te come from?

Patient build up and don't panic.

8 games in a row for Sturridge and the bookies keep pricing him favourably to score anytime (imo).

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 8,267 ✭✭✭opr

And breathe. Mental stuff. Fun though. Please get it done in the second half.

Edit - Oh and that was genius from Gerrard.

    Opr

Liverpool won plenty of titles in the 80's playing sh1te, going behind and winning.

  • Registered Users Posts: 2,207 ✭✭✭Hangballlouie

Spurs strolling it so for against Newcastle. Win is essential here.

  • Registered Users Posts: 4,128 ✭✭✭NabyLadistheman

Reminds me of the Stoke game. All that matters now is the result, especially with Spurs on for 3 points

My stream is down and it's not coming back by the looks of things. Probably for the best as I missed the first 25 minutes of the Arsenal game..

Very much so - Spurs are 2-0 up against Newcastle, so are only one point behind.
