I'll be 100% confident of 4th if spurs are beaten tonight and we beat united next week until then although we are in a title race I'm still a little uneasy about top 4.

It looks like Micah Richards’ Man City career will draw to an end this summer, following reports that the defender has rejected a new contract to stay at the Etihad.

Richards' contract expires in 2015, meaning City may choose to cash in sooner rather than wait until he can leave for nothing, albeit at a knockdown price this year.

His departure will conclude a near 13-year association with the club whom he joined as a youngster, and while many will view him as a talent unfulfilled, at 25 years of age, Richards can still live up to his potential.

I just watched the highlights from the 2011 Manchester derby where City beat Utd by 6 goals to 1.

I remember Richards had a great game and I always liked his style. What do you think of Richards playing at Anfield? Would he be a good addition to the team?

Yeah Chelsea's fixtures are just too handy. They will grind out the 1-0's and 2-0's to win the title.

Was hoping for a draw but at least this is a blow to Spurs.

I think Spurs winning would have been the worst result for us. Was hoping for a draw but Chelsea ending Spurs top 4 hopes is fine by me

Chelsea aren't losing this league IMO. too many options. far more than us, and even more than City in all honesty.

Why the Salah comments? What did people expect? They let Mata go because he wasn't as good as their first team options and wasn't getting game time. They brought in a kid with potential as backup to the backup - if Mata wasn't getting a lot of gametime, Salah certainly wasn't going to!

The fact he isn't playing for chelsea doesn't mean we've "dodged a bullet" or something.

Chelsea and city will win all the games where we think there is a slim chance they will drop points. However they will drop points unexpectedly in games we'd consider them bankers for.

QFT! x 10 which is why todays result is okay by me. Football is a marathon, if winning the title is now beyond Liverpool (assuming it was within a tenuous grasp) then at least make sure for the top 4. So much comes from that.

all this talk of 4th being in the bag is nuts
so many games to go with so many of the big teams playing each other that any talk of who finishes in what position is crazy.
