Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Very impressed with Swanseas first half performance against everton, the three pundits on utv never gave them a chance because of the starting 11 Monk put out. Think its next weekend we play them, shall be a tough one.

Swansea are resting lots of players in their game today against Everton.

expect them to be pretty fresh some next Saturday.

They're resting players because they have a Europa game against Napoli on Thursday.

A draw here would be a good thing, give Everton another game to play then lose the reply.

Swansea have been alright, but the Everton midfield rarely pressured them in the first half. Hopefully this finishes in a draw.

side note - I really like Swansea's third kit :o

Depending on who you believe the kit was inspired by a Twirl or Caramel bar!

Some nice anecdotes about Bill Shankly in this article, seemed to be a master at needling opposition players..

Well any chance of a replay is now over 3-1 if the peno is converted - which it is.

That's Everton through so. Horrible 5-10 minutes for Swansea.

Would prefer to meet them in the final myself, but failing that a home tie against them along the way would be lovely.

Just the small matter of Arsenal beforehand though.:)

I think Everton are destined to meet Wigan at some stage in the cup. That's the kind of draw the FA Cup brings up.

I'll worry about us meeting Everton after this match.

Should be beating that Arsenal team.

    Agger and Allen start.

    Jones in goal?

Is Mignolet carrying a knock or something?

Just landed into sinnots to see Liverpool drawn with Everton if they go through today.

Spose that's why you follow football, for the big games.

I'm really looking forward to this game. Win or lose, I think I'll enjoy it, I just don't want any injuries.

Possibility should be reduced with Wilshere not playing.

I wasn't too pushed on the cup but with Everton awaiting the winners makes it totally different. Would be very reminiscent of the late 80's.
    Come on the pool:)

I only just realised that Everton were still in it and the minute I saw them I knew we would get that draw.
    Have to overcome Arsenal first.

I don't think there has ever been a central defender as weak as Agger.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 88,972 ✭✭✭✭mike65

Agger is the one who will be sold in the summer - not Skrtel.

Skrtel wasn't much better to be fair. Defenders ball watching and getting dragged out of position for both goals.

It's a cup final for two or three posters. ;)

Suarez shouldn't be playing out of position to accommodate Sturridge.

They're both so changeable that from next week Agger could start putting in POTY performances and Skrtel could lose his starting place again.

One of them should go, and I would be inclined to keep Skrtel too, mostly due to Agger + Sakho probably won't work as a partnership.

    Need Sakho back asap.
