Tomorrow is now bigger than any game we've had since 2009, cup finals included.

You do realise that no matter what happened to Chelsea or City today that we need to win tomorrow anyway?

It strangely was more nervy than Wednesday night against Sunderland.

Now we're at the business end of the season that result shows it doesn't matter who any of Chelsea, City, Ourselves and Arsenal have left to play. Every game is a cup final for all teams from here on in. Everyone will slip up against the big and small teams, ourselves included.

City's to lose now though in my opinion but I'll keep dreaming.

Hopefully Palace are safe by the time we play them there. Could be a right tricky game as today showed.

Bitterness in the Chelsea match thread is brilliant. :D

Compliments the toys being thrown from the plane in the earlier one nicely.

It has just sunk in that if we win tomorrow we go top.
    With 6 games to go.

    I'm scared.

If Chelsea had won today, I'd still doubt we can win the league. With the way things sit now, we are possibly 2nd favourites to win it.

I feel sorry for mourinhos mrs he never left early to ring and tell her the result

If Palace play against us like they did there against Chelsea we'll really have to be at our best to beat them.
They deserved to win by more today I thought.

I'm just happy to be up there. It's so far from my expectations, there will be no disappointment if we don't do more than top 4.

Looking at your username there, just picture the last game of the season v the toon at Anfield. If we win the game then we win the league. It's the 94th minute. It's 1-1. Then SUAREEEEEEZZZZZZZZZZZ!!!

It has been pointed out a couple of times here that statistically that just isn't true. Crap team are just crap teams. They will in general end up averaging the same number of points over the remaining games that they have all season. This stuff about fighting for their lives, cup finals etc just isn't true.

Anyone who has watched Chelsea this season knows that while being effective they haven't at least away from home been playing particularly well. The game against West Brom away they looked so ordinary. In the last month or so away from home they have drawn with West Brom, lost to Villa and now lost to Palace.

    Opr

Chelsea had a few chances but their so poor up front. Liverpool will take them chances.

Watching FinalScore just there. I think Robbie Savage really fancies Liverpool for the league

Who'd have thought a couple of weeks ago that we'd be hoping( albeit with one eye over our shoulder) Arsenal beat city.

    Bloody hell! C'mon Arsenal

Yes but if Chelsea had won today then we'd still have to win to keep up with them.

Now if they have lost we have to win to go ahead of them.

If Man City win then we have to win to stay ahead of them
If Man City draw to capitalise on their slip up
If Man City lose the game would become even more massive as we'd have to sieze the opportunity.

Basically, we have to win all our massive remaining games no matter what happens.

Discussion on Twitter about what result would be best in the Arsenal v City game and this little gem gets thrown up......

"@AnalyseSport: The worst case scenario is we all wake up, Hodgson is still in charge and Ferguson picks Klopp!"
