Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

As an Arsenal fan I can say I'd be delighted to see Liverpool win it and that it'd immediately affirm Rodgers to be the best British manager since SAF.

All that said, if ye lose it I'll probably troll Niallo and Vinz for a few days and laugh at them.

And a good GAA man to boot.

I'm going to the Man City game. I go to 2 or 3 games a year but I never suspected that I'd be going to the biggest league game in 20 years! Excited is not the word.

Love the way Rodgers gives players a kick up the hole and if you don't respond you get the gate. Since he's been here Sterling, Flanagan, Henderson, Downing, Skrtel, Allen, Agger, Enrique, Coates even Sturridge in the Everton game have all been given a real rocket by being dropped/subbed/told their future is on the line and we are reaping the benefits of the ones who applied themselves.

You could argue Suarez also got it in the summer with the refusal to allow a move no matter how much he sulked in pre season.

It's almost like he does it to get a reaction from a player, if it's positive you stay, if its not you're out the door.....to West Ham :p

Hope those bastards don't come back to haunt us next week :(

Obviously pretending to be the two planes from yesterday, Suarez has a t-shirt under his jersey with 'Moyes Out' Sturridge has one with 'Moyes In'.

I'm not getting one bit excited at all.

Liverpool mess up just too often to get any bit excited, and it is all in Manchester City's hands.

If Liverpool beat City I'll get very optimistic but in true Pool fashion they'd probably just go onto lose to Newcastle on the last day.

I like to shout out a special mention to the two young'em's of the team.

John Flanagan 21 and Raheem Sterling 19.

Two outstanding talents, both playing brilliant football and sure to be here for a very long time.

We are now at 13/8 to win the premier league.

Chelsea have drifted out to 7/1.

    Man City 4/5.

Bookies are rarely wrong. Fcuk all in it. It's time to start dreaming.

:D I laughed. Not totally sure if it was cos I thought what you said was funny or if it's just because that's my reaction to everything today after going top of the league with 6 games left!!! But good effort all the same. Much bettert han your previous I gotta say.

Great managers have to be like that ruthless, what i really like was the handling of saurez in the summer stand firm but also had his eye on replacements just if, the leaving him training alone until he apologised i'd say that was the kicker for him, a lad that loves playing so much exiled he really came back strong after that.

Sterling was magnificent today. Fully deserving of the MOTM. Some Brazilian flair in that 3rd goal too and am not talking entirely about Coutinho either:pac:

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 8,267 ✭✭✭opr

I thought that was probably Sterling best performance in a Liverpool shirt. As usual he carried the ball well, tracked back, good touches, was brave in possession but added to that his final pass and decision making in general were terrific today. His range of passing was also excellent. He smacked a first time ball over the top late on for Suarez that was out of this world and only for Lloris coming a long way having spotted the danger Suarez would have been in. Some of the interchange between him, Suarez and Sturridge was a joy to watch. 19

    Opr
