The pleasure I understand, but where is the sadness or pain for KD if Liverpool win the title?

Because it wasn't him that achieved it, and the fact that it's his successor that's doing it....possibly.

Speaking of Kenny, he didn't look happy when the camera panned to him at 2-0. No matter what he says in his columns, I reckon he'll find any potential title win very bittersweet.

What :pac: Nobody loves the club more than Kenny.

Another ex manager and I'd see your point, but I'd have huge doubts about it being like that with Dalglish, to be honest.

I'm not saying he doesn't, but how things worked out must hurt.

    Brendan Rodgers Liverpool,
We on our way to glory,
Built the team like Shankly did,
The kids will have a story!

Yes i am sure they do - but to even suggest for as second he would have anything but 100% total delight in us winning the league is ... well ... sillyness.

    Move on ...

9 Goals v Spurs this season, we are a better team right now that Chelsea, i cannot believe i am saying that buy we are more fluid, more composed, more of a threat going forward and aside from their backline which are exceptional - we are the team in form. I wonder could we win the title by drawing against Chelsea/City? I feel we need to beat one of them.

What a bloody season ... i swear the hair on the back of my neck stood up for 45mins after the intros and YNWA ... unreal stuff. WTF is going on? Top of the league ... LOL!!!

be interesting to look back at the pre-season and early season predictions from some people now, especially rival fans

but to fair this title charge has shocked most of us too, i mean i reckon the vast majority of us would have bitten your hand off for CL football at the start of the season (by the way, that isn't even guaranteed yet, from experience i always have the doomsday scenario as a kind of default setting)

...but eff me we're playing well at the moment

I think mine was 72 points, and tbh that was an optimistic prediction.

I don't mind admitting that I thought we'd finish 6th or 7th. I was sniggering at anyone who suggested we could finish 4th.

I'd say Kenny was so pissed off with us going top of the table, he was trying to slap young Turdy!

Fair enough, maybe I'm just projecting, I would have liked nothing more than Kenny being the man to front this challenge. I am the man that's bittersweet. :)

When Brendan Rodgers got the job I wanted/hoped for..

    Year 1 top 6 (disappointed with 7th)
Year 2 a fight for 3rd/4th (this season)
Year 3 a fight for top 2 (next season)
Year 4 and on title challengers every season. (The dream)

To be honest being in the title race with 6 games to go this season is beyond my wildest dreams.

next step is west ham away

we have been bullied by big men at the back before and carroll/downing have points to prove

we may need four or five to put them away

i need something to moan about....alan smith annoyed me as co-commentator, constant petty little digs at suarez, have never liked smith, constantly undermining us and saying we're not good enough, seems to be getting quieter on that front though

Absolutely and a Sturridge one too. Coutinho, Hendo and Sterling could probably do with one aswell.

    For me

    Year 1 - Wasn't expecting much.
Year 2 - To be in contention for 4th with 10 games to go would of great considering year 1.
    Year 3 - Achieving top 4.
Year 4 - Top 4 again, and in with a chance at the league.
    Year 5 - The league.

    This was me being optimistic.
Really can't believe how well things have gone this season.
