Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

He looks some player. What an exciting signing he would be.

I'm worried the likes of Chelsea will be in for him in the summer. Really hope we make him a priority in the summer, would give us quality in depth and different options.

I had to stop half way through that vid, he gave the ball away EVERY time he got it, he looks very poor to me going by that video anyway, watch it again and tell me im wrong

Id be very surprised if we went back for Konoplyanka. Im expecting and hoping for VERY different transfer activity this summer anyway what with.. you know .. rhymes with grampians deeg

Why does it matter, anyway. How can you put guidelines on what people feel and with which team they feel more of an affiliation for, or an emotional attachment to etc. For many of us, supporting a Club like Liverpool is an irrational concept anyway. Trying to rationalise it and put boundaries, rules and stipulations on how everyone should prioritise their emotion towards Club and Country is beyond ridiculous.

For me, its club every day of the week, no contest whatsoever. I can understand why it would be the other way around for others, but I've invested far much more, emotionally primarily, but also physically in terms of time, travel, etc, for Liverpool than I could ever for Ireland, really.

That's the main thing for me, as it probably is for any fan.

I think Liverpool will definitely be going back in for him in the summer,
But i expect more competition from other clubs :(.

Each to their own is what I say. People like the OP in that thread I'll use to get some amusement out of though. He's seems awfully mad.

Genuine lol, thread locked. About time.

"Glen has been back training," the manager explained to reporters at his pre-match press conference from Melwood.

"According to him, he has felt as good as he has done for a long time - which is great. He has looked very good in training and he'll come into the squad.

"Lucas Leiva is recovering very well but not in the squad. Sakho is still probably a week or so away, but he's back on the field now with the rehabilitation team and working well.

"Apart from that, the squad is pretty much the same as it has been."

Left-back Jose Enrique, meanwhile, remains on the sidelines - Rodgers revealed that the Spaniard recently visited a specialist in the United States regarding his knee problem.

"Jose Enrique has been out in America," the Northern Irishman added.

"We're looking to try to put an end to his injuries this season. We have sent him out to get some specialist advice on that. But he's nowhere near playing yet."

    U21 Line up for tonight

Mersin, Sama, (rafa) Paez, Jones, Smith, Lussey, Chirivella, Dunn, Brannagan, Peterson, Bijev

Be good to see Bijev playing. Sama seems to have to LB nailed down for the time being with McLaughlin on loan.

Good grief James Alabi looks like a rugby league forward.

Branagan scores, Peterson and Lussey assist.

First time I've seen him, but I'm impressed.

Even though he's built for the Hoofball, he can actually play on the Deck.

Stone age stuff from Stoke really. Hoof and cross physical power

    Dunn being Sturridge there.

I can't believe we're losing the Possession-Battle against Stoke, of all Clubs.

Another thing I'm disappointed about, is that our Players seems to have problems Turning-with-the-Ball under pressure.

    Awful Stuff from Liverpool.

I know we shouldn't talk about Utd, but that was a peach of a comment from Moyes at their press conference!

Mark Hughes football philosophy has definitely not filtered down to the youth ranks yet. I'm expecting Tony Pulis to be hopping around every time the camera pans to the touchline.

Amazing. And some people here still arent sure if Rodgers is the right man for the job

In fairness, not a single poster has been particularly critical of him of late. Rodgers is doing well.

Then again, a good chunk of our fan base still don't rate Rafa. Ironic now that he is the benchmark for Rodgers being the right man for the job.

I think it's his unwillingness to accept that they're just not playing very well that's turning the fans against him. Can't blame them.

I wouldnt agree with that. Most Liverpool fans would rate Rafa and his achievements
