Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

If we finish off strong this season then we will, in some ways, be back to the summer of 2009 a half decade later. Having enjoyed a massively promising season but with structural deficiencies in a squad screaming out for a big investment in order to push on to the next level. The current transfer policy is acceptable without the additional CL revenue, it is not acceptable when that barrier to attracting top shelf players is removed.
I agree with you, Lloyd, but i just cant see it happening.

Probably more to do with Liverpool being one of the most supported teams in the world and are currently doing well.

Perhaps...more likely though, that its to do with the average goals per game in matches we've played this season

It's all about product with sky

Travel confirmed now for the Chelsea game.

Hopefully the *subject to movement for CL games* thing doesn't happen. Hopefully they will be knocked out of the CL before then.

Nah, they're hoping that we keep scoring goals up top and are leaky as a sieve at the back.

They want 4-3 thrillers to push up the ratings by the end of the season.

For purely selfish reasons I hope Chelsea are in CL and FA Cup right to the end....if only to tire them out in the run in (sorry! :D)

Nah, I want them to get hammered in a demoralising fashion by Real or Bayern in the quarters. Real would be especially satisfying seeing as it's Mourinho.

Barring that, we can maybe just agree that they can still be in it then, but play the Wednesday afterwards, not the Tuesday, so that our league game is still on but still don't win the thing.

I hate to break it to you though, but Chelsea are our of the FA Cup.

    Beaten finalists in both.

I'll give you 1000/1 odds for that to happen this season, or I'll run naked up and down outside the GPO for an hour in the middle of the day if it does. Your choice.

Various papers in Liverpool and Germany running stories on this too.
Apparently zenit are in for him also.

She was in Thurles last night at Lar Corbett's bar. A few of my friends went in for a look. There was some awful video's this morning. Her naked standing on a couch and about 50 lads standing around videoing her. Weird enough, though.

I'm in two minds about them.

On one hand we know what we need to do, capitalize on mistakes made or keep pace with teams that have won; could be great motivation for the team.

On the other hand, our Sunday results are not really putting the teams under pressure as there would generally be a whole week until the next game, giving them plenty of time to prepare.

Very good player who's continued to impress this season scoring at an consistent rate for a massively inconsistent club. That alone is the difference between him and Coutinho, Firmino knows how to find the back of the net. I'm not sure if he's that much of a step up on our Brazilian in other areas though, but I'd be confident a a Roma or Atleti type club will sign him in the future, probably this summer.

Saw that earlier. No quotes, so figured they were just putting two and two together with the Swansea link and Cardiff in real danger of being relegated. Won't say I've seen much of Cardiff this season (a few times at a push), but the Caulker at Swansea looked a very, very good player.
