I have a ton of photos here.

Some of these are from Shannon, but with the 5 picture limit some from around the country will end up there.

Spotted this going whilst I was out with the dogs, so I put the dogs back indoors and came back out with my phone.

These trees were still upright after the storm, no idea how, but I think we'd better get a tree surgeon in before the next big blow!

Their neighbour, 10-15 feet to the left of this point, wasnt so lucky, and took our phoneline down with it.

Nasa's image from Thursday morning shows #StormDarwin clearing the to the North East of Ireland while the monster winter storm that brought icing to the U.S. southeast moved northward along the Eastern Seaboard and brought snow, sleet and rain from the Mid-Atlantic to New England on February 13. A new image from NOAA's GOES satellite showed clouds associated with the massive winter storm stretch from the U.S. southeast to the northeast.

No way mate, that's photoshopped

I don't know if it's photoshopped but it reminds me of my father's experience of working on a fallen tree many years ago. Once the top half or so of the tree was taken off the remainder of the tree suddenly sprang back and ended up sitting bolt upright in it's original position, as if it had never fallen.

As kids we would often have been out with him and would quite possibly have been clambering in that hole which ended up being completely covered in. He said a grown man wouldn't even have had a chance.

I heard of a similar story of a tree popping back into position on a local golf course last weekend.

As there are still a lot of trees down that will be worked on over the next few months, please be careful out there, folks, especially if there are little ones out with you. The grown ups need to be mindful too.
